Responsibilities
Full-time faculty at FRCC will be expected to assume instructional leadership roles including hiring and mentoring part-time instructors, developing curriculum, scheduling classes, advising students, working with industry or community groups, serving on departmental and college-wide committees, assessing student academic achievement and other college activities as assigned by the Deans. Responsibilities include teaching nutrition and health professions classes, working with part time instructors and advising students. Additional responsibilities include creating 2+2 programs with 4 year colleges in the state, overseeing online teaching, student recruitment and developing continuing education programs. Must be willing to coordinate with other HWE and HPR programs in the state. All full-time faculty may be asked to teach partly online, depending on the needs of their program area.
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Dietitian.
- Masters degree in a health related field.
- Three years experience working in a nutrition field.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the college level.
- Must be willing to become a member of the American Dietetic Association and corresponding state organization if hired.
- Must meet vocational teaching credentialing requirements or possess a current vocational teaching credential.
Preferred:
- Experience working in both hospital and community dietetics practice settings.
- Minimum one year dietetic work in related field.
- Two years experience teaching online.
Salary
$43,141-$49,106 depending on education and experience. This is a 9 month position paid out over 12 months.

Selection Process
- Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed application package submitted by candidate. Only complete application packets will move forward for screening.
