GED Testing at Boulder County Campus
You must have an appointment to take the GED at the FRCC Boulder County Campus. Tests are given on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost for all tests is $120, payable by check or money order.
To take the GED Test at Boulder County:
- Register online.
- Call the Testing Center to schedule a testing time.
- Bring a valid government issued picture ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, passport or military ID.
GED Prep
Online GED Prep
Each session of the Front Range Community College- Boulder County Campus’s GED Preparation (GEDP) program is seven weeks long. The GEDP course prepares students to complete the official GED exams. The majority of coursework, including pre-tests, lesson plans, and post-tests, are completed online anywhere a computer and Internet connection are available. Online lessons are supplemented with classroom instruction and individualized coaching/tutoring to aid students in setting goals, building structure, and maintaining focus. Classroom instruction reinforces the online material and prepares students to think critically in applying the lessons learned.
GED Prep Cost
The cost for the GED Prep course is $110, payable to FRCC-BCC by check or money order at the time of registration. Please note this prep course fee does not include the $120 official GED Test fee. See registration details below. Call Kay at (303) 678-3725 with any questions.
