Transfer Credit out of FRCC
Half of FRCC graduates continue their education elsewhere. Our goal is to provide all the information you’ll need to make your transfer to the institution of your choice as seamless as possible. See transfer degree options.
Guaranteed Transfer Courses
A “guaranteed transfer” (gtPATHWAYS) course is one that is universally transferable among all Colorado public institutions of higher education. Upon admission to another institution, up to 31 credits of gtPATHWAYS coursework will count toward general education requirements for most Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degree programs. FRCC has more than 125 courses in 34 subject areas that are guaranteed to transfer.
Other Credits’ Impact on Transferring
Although FRCC may recognize credit for prior learning (for example, CLEP, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, military or corporate training, etc.), and may grant a degree with designation and gtPATHWAYS notation on a transcript, some transfer institutions reserve the right to evaluate those credits according to their policies. So it's a good idea for students with credit for prior learning to consult with their target institution before transferring.
