Workshop Descriptions

Begin Your Career Path:

A one hour workshop that introduces goal setting, career planning, and resources the Career Success Center offers. It is intended to help you align your career goals with your academic planning.

Resume Writing:

A one hour workshop designed to help you understand different styles of resumes, when to use them, and how to create your own.

Interviewing Skills:

A one hour workshop intended to prepare you on the ins and outs of successful interviewing. We will offer tips on how to present successfully and give you time to practice answers to often asked questions.

True Colors:

A one hour assessment style workshop designed to help you learn more about your personality, your working style, and how to be successful when working on teams. 

Managing Your Online Persona:

Fortune Magazine reports that 94% of recruiters use or plan to use social media in recruiting prospective employees. This one hour workshop will focus on creating a positive online image through the use of social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as share tips and tricks for marketing yourself to potential employers.
