STEP 2: Submit Documentation
Our Financial Aid Office may need to request certain types of documentation from you. This is part of the Financial Aid Application process. All documentation is kept strictly confidential and only financial aid personnel have access to this information once it has been submitted. When there is any information that our office needs to complete the review of your file we will notify you through your CCCS email account or through eWOLF, under the Student Finance Tab.
Visit our Financial Aid Forms page for a list of financial aid documentation.
Your Privacy
As a student you are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). What this means is that personally identifiable information is protected by the school. This also means that you will need to provide written authorization in order for anyone, other than you, to have access to your educational records. For a further explanation and to download the forms required to authorize access to your educational records see our FERPA web page.
What is Verification?
Every year approximately 30 percent of our applicants are selected by the U.S. Department of Education for the process called Verification. Our office will communicate with students primarily through email and upates made to eWOLF. Please check both regularly to see any requests for documentation. Please note: Unsigned documents will result in an incomplete file. It is strongly recommended that students keep copies of all forms submitted to the Financial Aid Office.
Students attending the Fall 2011, Spring 2012 or Summer 2012 semesters and who are applying for financial aid will need to submit 2011-2012 academic year forms.
