  • Denver Human Services Employees
  • Students applying to the Foster Care and Emancipated Youth scholarship must be planning to attend, or currently attend, a career, technical, two-year or four-year college. Individuals must have been in the Colorado foster care system for a minimum of 24 months during the ages of 13-18.
  • Individuals applying to the Nonprofit Employee Scholarship must be pursuing undergraduate coursework related to their career. Select Denver Human Services agencies are eligible. See application for details.

  • Must be accepted into a two-year, technical, or vocational degree or certificate program for the 2014-2015 academic year

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited HVACR or PHCC program in an apprenticeship, two-year college, or four year college
  • Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen
  • Must provide a letters of recommendation, transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and an essay

  • CCCS Student
  • Must be a member of the Credit Union of Colorado
  • Must intend to or be attending one of the 13 Colleges in the Colorado Community College System
  • Must demonstrate community service involvement through school or the community
  • Must demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA
  • Must be enrolled as either a half-time (6 credit hours) or full-time (12 credit hours) student per semester
  • Must maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

  • Must provide an essay, two letters of recommendation, transcripts, and documentation of a discharge from any branch of the United States military service (copy of DD214).
