Boulder County Campus
We provide individualized instructional assistance to support a variety of FRCC college courses. Services are delivered in a variety of ways, ranging from individualized study programs to computer assisted instruction.
The Learning Center is located down the hall from the bookstore. As you face the bookstore, take the hallway to the left. The Learning Center is about 100 yards down the hall on the right. See building map.
Math Lab
Located in room C1564 of the Learning Center, the Math Lab provides students help in all levels of the subject.
Writing Center
The Writing Center offers students free, one-on-one assistance with all types and levels of writing. Assistance is available in three ways:
- Writing Center appointments
- Walk-in consultations
- Via e-mail
Instructors will not edit students’ papers, but will point out recurring errors and ask questions to help students think through the writing process and understand ways to improve their writing.
We are located in room C1566 of the Learning Center.
Study Labs
We work with the academic departments at FRCC to offer a variety of drop-in labs, where an instructor is present to help and where students can come to study. The labs take place in one of three group study rooms in the Learning Center.
Group and Study Rooms
The Learning Center has three rooms that can be reserved for group or quiet study (rooms C1562, C1564, and C1566). There is a reservation form by the door of each room that can be used to reserve the room on a weekly basis. The rooms are also reserved on a semester basis by the drop-in lab coordinators and by faculty.
