CAAP Graduation Exam
All students eligible to receive associate degrees (A.A., A.S., A.G.S., or A.A.S.) are required to complete the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP). This skill inventory assesses students’ skill levels in the following areas:
- Writing skills
- Mathematics (calculators may be used)
- Science reasoning
- Reading
- Critical thinking
Register to take the CAAP
A student who has already earned an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or bachelor's degree is exempt from the CAAP. Please contact your campus testing center to verify exemption.
