Intensive English Program (IEP) starting Fall semester 2009!!
We are very excited! Beginning August 2009, we will have 2 ESL programs at the Boulder County Campus: an Intensive English Program (IEP) during the day and regular Evening ESL Classes.
Students in the IEP can study English for up to 22 ½ hours a week!
2 seven-week sessions each fall and spring semester.
Language skills classes: Reading, Composition, Conversation/Public Speaking and Grammar at Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels.
Language skills classes meet for 2 1/2 hours, twice a week (or 5 hours a week).
Electives on Fridays: Pronunciation, TOEFL Preparation, English for Global Business and American Culture.
How is the Evening ESL Classes different than the IEP?
Classes are 15 weeks long (the length of a regular semester)
Many of the same classes as the IEP, just less intensive
Perfect for adults who work during the day and still want to improve their English by attending classes in the evenings
Each evening class meets for 1 hour and 15 minutes, twice a week (or 2 1/2 hours a week).
