Credit for Prior Learning, CLEP, & DSST

Front Range Community College provides the opportunity for students to receive credit for selected experience-based learning. 

• Taking a CLEP test is a way you may be awarded college credit. 
• Taking a DSST test is a way you may be awarded college credit.
• If a CLEP or DSST exam is not available for the subject you wish to test out of, you may contact the Department Chair for that subject at your FRCC campus. 

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP testing is offered at each of our campuses.  Please click on the campus where you choose to take your CLEP test and follow the registration procedures.

• Larimer Campus (Fort Collins)
• Westminster Campus (Westminster) 

DSST Testing is available at the Larimer Campus only.  To reigster for a DSST test click here.
