College Opportunity FundHow Colorado supports resident undergraduate education The State of Colorado has always paid a portion of the total cost of higher education for Colorado residents attending Colorado public institutions for their undergraduate degrees. These days, the way Colorado does so is with the College Opportunity Fund. You have to sign up for the College Opportunity Fund. You only have to do this once. And you sign up on the Web.
You will need to know your Social Security number or Alien Registration number. Colorado state law also requires applicants for a public benefit to produce one of four types of identification. So have one of these handy: Colorado driver's license or Colorado identfication card, U.S. military card, U.S. military dependent ID card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner card. The information provided by you on the application will be verified by the Department of Higher Education. |
