Jamie Hahn

Faculty, Architectural Engineering and Construction Technology – Larimer Campus

Jamie was a high school teacher in Maryland before joining his brother in a residential and commercial construction company in Colorado in 1984. Jamie is still a general partner in the company, but he returned to teaching – this time at FRCC – in 2005. In his spare time, Jamie enjoys coaching youth baseball, the sport of his own childhood. In fact, when Jamie was 12, his team appeared in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

Teaching Philosophy

I like every aspect of teaching. I like the community college curriculum and the philosophy. Our program is fully aligned with industry to get students working, and that’s such a cool thing. It’s a very practical education. The best thing about teaching is when students you taught come back and tell you that you prepared them well.
