Teaching Philosophy
I believe that I must understand how my students think and reason about the content. I believe that it is my role to provide an environment that allows students to work on issues and problems without fear or failure. I believe that teaching is collective rather than an individual incident. I believe that when a student is able to make meaning of the classroom lesson through direct experience, they gain the confidence and knowledge to further their skills.
