Jo Murphy
Allied Health - Westminster Campus & Online Learning
Jo is the Program Director of the Early Childhood Education program on the Westminster campus of FRCC. She is originally from Missouri, born in Hannibal (Mark Twain territory) and grew-up near the St. Charles area. She moved to Colorado with her husband and son in 1984. Before coming to FRCC, Jo worked with children (typical and children with a variety of exceptionalities) from the ages of birth to 12 years old in her teaching career in public and private school settings.
Teaching Philosophy
I do draw upon my experiences with children and their families plus my experiences supervising early childhood internship students by sharing personal stories that may be pertinent to the class I am teaching
