Misty West
Allied Health - Westminster Campus
Misty West began her EMS career in 1990 as an EMT for Ambulance Service Company. She completed her paramedic education in 1993 at St. Anthony’s Central Hospital in Denver and has worked in rural and urban EMS for volunteer and private services. In 1998, Misty began teaching in the EMS Program at HealthONE EMS in Englewood. Since 2008, she has been the EMS program director at Front Range Community College.
Teaching Philosphy
EMS is one of the most exciting and rewarding careers. Misty enjoys working with students who share the same passion for helping people in a time of crisis. She provides the students with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
