International Students

Welcome to Colorado and Front Range Community College!

At FRCC, we consider international students an integral part of our diverse student body. FRCC has students from countries around the world who bring unique experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds to our college, contributing to our rich cultural and social environment.

FRCC is the largest community college in Colorado, serving more than 25,000 students annually. Our service area is vast, spanning the Front Range, and our four locations offer degrees and certificates in more than 70 areas of study. All campuses offer student-centered environments that foster student success. As an international student, you will find that instructors, staff, and your fellow students are eager to help you adjust to your new surroundings and achieve your educational goals.

English as a Second Language

The purpose of the English as a Second Language (ESL) program is to meet the academic and social needs of students and community members who are in the process of learning English. Highly qualified Front Range Community College instructors provide exceptional ESL teaching and help international students adjust socially and culturally.

All students for whom English is a second language are evaluated for English proficiency. After evaluation, you may be required to take the Levels of English Proficiency (LOEP) test. For correct course placement, please meet with an academic advisor

If you are here to learn English…

Front Range Community College cannot issue I-20s for the study of English. Students are welcome to enroll in the English Language School at the Westminster Campus.
