About Brighton Center
Front Range Community College first began offering credit and non-credit courses in various locations in the Brighton area in 1994. Today, FRCC-Brighton Center at the Brighton Learning and Resource Campus serves hundreds of students seeking to further their careers through education. In addition to for-credit college courses, including science classes taught in a new lab/classroom, the Brighton Center offers a variety of professional development classes.
Renowned welding program
The Brighton Center offers Welding Technology classes at Prairie View High School in Henderson. Welding classes, taught by Jim Cade, are open to the community. FRCC offers an Associate of Applied Science in Welding Technology. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor before enrolling.
College credit for high school students
Under Post-Secondary Enrollment Options and Concurrent Enrollment, students at Brighton High School, Prairie View High School and Eagle Ridge Academy may be eligible to take college courses for high school and college credit. Learn more about enrolling at FRCC while in high school.

Educational partnerships
The Brighton Learning and Resource Campus is an innovative collaboration of several educational organizations across the Front Range:
Colorado State University Continuing Education – CSU Continuing Education at the Brighton Learning and Resource Center allows students to earn a graduate degree in Organizational Performance and Change or take the Core Leadership Training Series.
Project Lead the Way – Project Lead the Way’s pre-engineering curriculum at School District 27J allows high school students to enroll in Intro to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, Civil Engineering/Architecture, and Digital Electronics.
District 27J Preschool –District 27J Preschool focuses on helping young children develop positive self-concept, language, and social skills.
Community Reach Center provides private, confidential counseling for children, adults, couples, and families, as well as crisis intervention, emergency services, psychological testing, residential treatment, and therapeutic support groups for a variety of life challenges.
Adams County Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood education program that works in partnership with families and the community.
Salud Family Health Centers is a medical home where dental, medical, and behavioral health services are integrated to deliver quality health care to patients in the community.
Coming here by bus?
The Brighton Center is a short walk from the RTD bus stop at Bridge Street and 18th Avenue. If coming from Westminster, take Route 120 to Sheridan (exit at 120th and Sheridan) and transfer to Route 51. The Brighton Center is just around the corner. Visit www.rtd-denver.com for a full bus schedule.
