As always, our first priority is to keep our FRCC community safe. Check this page for the latest updates on FRCC policies and procedures related to COVID-19.

Helpful Tips and Information

  • You are no longer required to submit a COVID report form. It is your responsibility to follow the guidelines outlined on this webpage.
  • Determine your return to campus date. If you test positive, you are to remain off campus for 5 days, day one being the day after your symptoms started. If you are asymptomatic, day one would be the day after you tested. See the COVID Calculator below for more information on determining your return date.
  • After 5 days, you can return to campus as long as you have been 24 hours without a fever and your symptoms have improved by that point.
  • It is your responsibility to contact your instructor to notify them of your anticipated return date and discuss your missed classes, assignments, tests, etc.
  • Negative tests are not required in order to return to campus.
  • Masks are not required when you return, but are recommended.
  • If you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms and have not tested positive, you are encouraged to take a COVID test immediately. In the meantime, please communicate with your instructors as you would any other time you are feeling ill.
  • If you have been exposed but haven’t tested positive, we encourage you to test for COVID but do not require any stay at home measures.
  • If you are a student worker, please see the intranet for next steps as an FRCC employee.
  • If you are feeling well enough to participate in online and/or remote courses, you do NOT need to contact your instructor.

Visit Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment website for information on resources for those who have contracted COVID and are dealing with the additional stressors that come with it.
