Lista de registro para nuevos estudiantes

1.   Apply online  or download the application.  You (and your parent if you are under age 23) will be asked a series of questions to determine your residency for in-state or out-of-state tuition.  You will be automatically admitted if you are 17 years or older; however, admission does not ensure acceptance into any specific program.

2.  Sign up for College Opportunity Fund (COF), all students who are classified as a Colorado resident for tuition purposes must sign up for COF to receive your portion of state paid tuition.  Find out more about COF.

3.  Apply for Financial Aid to determine if you are eligible for federal financial aid funds such as Pell Grants and low interest loan programs.  Complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov or get assistance completing your form with Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) services.  Start early, the process can take six to eight weeks.  Learn more about Financial Aid

4.  Take an Assessment for appropriate course placement or qualify for an exemption.  The assessment test takes approximately 2 hours and assesses your reading comprehension, language skills, and math.  Study guides are available. Find Testing Center hours for your campus.

5.  All students must meet with an advisor.  Our Advisors will help you review your assessment, select appropriate courses, review degree/certificate requirements, and identify career resources.  Our advisors will also help you identify resources to help you achieve your education goals.

6.  Register for classes online or in person.  In order to get the best schedule to meet your needs, be sure to register as early as possible.  Need help with the process?  Get step by step instructions to guide you through or contact the Advising and Counseling department for assistance.

7.  Pay your tuition and fees by the due date, if payment is not received by this date you will be dropped from your classes and will have to re-enroll.  Deferred payment is available with  FACTS and payment is accepted using check, cash, financial aid, or credit card.  Payment by credit card may be made online.

8.  Activate your FRCC Email account.  Important information is communicated via email and you'll need an active account to communicate with your instructors.  Need help with the process?  Get step by step instructions.

9.  Purchase your books and supplies at the FRCC Bookstore.  Make sure you are prepared with the proper materials to ensure your success.

10.  Attend New Student Orientation and find out more about FRCC and how we can help you toward a successful semester.

11.  Get your official college ID called the Wolf Card to access services, use the library and computer labs, and enjoy discounts in the community!  You will need a specific type of ID to obtain your Wolf Card.

Accommodations are provided for persons with disabilities through the Office of Disability Services on your campus.
