Follow these steps to get ready to graduate from Front Range Community College:
Step 1: Confirm Your Credits
To avoid surprises, use Degree Check at least one semester before you plan to graduate to make sure you have all the credits you need. You’ll find it in eWOLF under My Student Information in your student tab. Read the instructions here, and see your advisor with questions.
Step 2: Submit Forms to Transfer Credits
To have credits from another school applied to your FRCC degree program, before the graduation deadline of the semester you plan to graduate:
Complete a transfer credit evaluation request form and turn it in at the Admissions and Records Office on your campus.
Ask the other school to mail your official transcript directly to FRCC (no hand deliveries).
If you have approved credit for prior learning, you also need to turn in the approval forms by the graduation application deadline.
Step 3: Apply for Graduation
To make sure your application sails through:
Turn it in before the Add/Drop deadline of the semester you plan to graduate.
Check that the name you ask us to print on your diploma matches your college records. (To update your records, fill out a change form.)
Make sure the certificate or degree program you enter on your application matches your declared major. (To see your declared major, check the catalog or log in to eWOLF.)
Turn in a separate application for each certificate or degree you’ll earn.
Watch for your approval letter around the first week of April.
Step 4: Attend Commencement (Optional)
The commencement ceremony is your time to celebrate your accomplishment! You’ll wear a cap and gown, walk alongside your classmates, accept your degree or certificate, and move the tassel on your cap from right to left.
Commencement happens every May and includes students who graduate during the previous summer, fall and spring semesters. We’ll send you commencement information after you apply for graduation—and diplomas and certificates about eight weeks after the semester ends.
