An Associate of Arts (AA) degree in studio art or art history at FRCC will provide the foundation for a variety of artistic endeavors, including careers as a fine artist, art teacher, arts management, museum curator and more. With faculty on each campus – and online – solely dedicated to the arts, you’ll get plenty of support and guidance along your journey.

AA in Studio Arts

Program Locations: Online, Boulder County, Larimer, Westminster

Total Credits: 60 credits (4 semesters)

Build a solid foundation that prepares you to complete a bachelor's degree in fine art or studio arts. You'll experiment with different art techniques and learn about the historical aspects of art. You'll study art mediums, including:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Ceramics
  • Photography

Your courses will transfer to all public Colorado four-year institutions with arts or fine arts majors.
