Additional Information
My Outreach Focus:

My outreach focus is helping high school students, especially those of Latinx background, and their families navigate the enrollment process at FRCC and explore higher education options.

Why FRCC is Great:

FRCC is the largest community college in Colorado that offers a variety of programs and accessible, affordable education.

My Favorite Classes in College:

Spanish literature graduate seminars and an undergraduate course on Latin American film.

My Story:

I grew up in Russia and came to the United States to go to college. I attended Arapahoe Community College, where I took a few Spanish classes and fell in love with the language and culture. Then I transferred to Metropolitan State University. I have been teaching Spanish for 8 years at different institutions, including FRCC. I also worked as a bilingual case manager for a community mental health center where I worked with Spanish speaking families and individuals, connecting them with resources and helping them on the path to self-sufficiency. I love to help others explore and pursue educational opportunities.
