Gerald is the founder and director of the FRCC Paralegal Studies Program. He knew he wanted to teach in the legal field since the time he attended Smiley Junior High School in Denver. A Thomas Jefferson High School graduate, Gerald majored in political science at the University of Northern Colorado. After graduation from the University of Denver School of Law, he worked in private practice. Along the way, he also graduated from the Denver Paralegal Institute. He came to FRCC in 1994 to teach the Legal Environment of Business. In 1997, he opened the Paralegal Studies program, a pioneering effort in the online world.
