Teaching Philosophy
I teach skills students can apply on the job. What the students may not know is that some of the skills are based on subjects taught in math and science classes. We just apply them to the automobile. Students may be struggling in math, and I’m teaching them geometry. They don’t realize they’re doing geometry. I’ll get them aligning a car, and they’re doing compound angles. It’s really conceptual physics when we talk about change of states and matter in air conditioning class.
