My Outreach Focus
My goal is to help others develop their academic goals into reality. Overall, serve as the on-campus point person for prospective students and be a resource through the enrollment process.
Why FRCC is GREAT
FRCC is a great place that truly enriches lives through learning.
My Favorite Classes in College
Sociology, Mexican-American History, Ballroom Dance/Latin dance
My native language is Spanish, I began my education journey at a community college in Arizona where I earned my Associate degree then transferred to Arizona State University. Being the first in my family to graduate from college has fueled the drive and passion to provide student mentorship, advocacy and tools to empower others to achieve their own academic goals.
While earning both my bachelors and master’s degree, I worked at Arizona State University in various roles including, financial aid, event planning, commencement and student support/advising. Working in higher education for over 12 years has exposed me to numerous diversity and inclusion programs/initiatives, which has also paved the way for me to participate in community collaborative bridge programs that promote higher education.
My hobbies and aspirations include hiking, Latin dance, travel exploration, cultural events and participation, quality time with family and developing new relationships with friends and acquaintances.
