Celebrating Latinx Heritage Month at FRCC

Happy Latinx Heritage Month! (September 15-October 15)

"Lobo is the Spanish word for wolf, and in many Latinx cultures the lobo symbolizes loyalty, family, friendship and protection. As part of our wolf pack at FRCC, we want everyone to feel welcome here. So please join in the fun events going on at each of our campuses throughout the month."
Dr. Colleen Simpson, FRCC President

Fall is a busy time of year at a college—but hopefully we can all take time to learn something new about our rich Latinx history and heritage in the US (and right here in Colorado). This month is a good reminder to celebrate the cultures and contributions of Latinx Americans throughout the year.
