Brighton Center

The student body is diverse.

More than 600 students attend the Brighton Center every year, most on a part-time basis. More than 35 percent of Brighton Center students are members of one or more ethnic group. Many students enroll right from high school, so the median age is 19. But about 25 percent of our students are 26 or older.

Earn certificates in Retail Management and Project Management.

If you are looking for a new career, are working in retail already and want to move up, or want to own your own store, Retail Management will help you learn to succeed as a manager and improve your business and professional skills. Project managers are in high demand in a wide variety of industry sectors. The skills you will learn to earn the Project Management certificate also can be beneficial to anyone who owns a small business.

Top transfer destinations.

Many students come to FRCC before transferring. Brighton Center’s top transfer destination is Metropolitan State University of Denver. Next is Colorado State University, followed by University of Northern Colorado.

Transfer students & guaranteed-transfer agreements.

Your Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree is guaranteed to transfer to the colleges of arts and sciences at all public four-year colleges and universities in Colorado. FRCC transfer students do as well or better than students who start at a four-year institution. And there are special transfer agreements with Colorado School of Mines, Regis University, and others.

High school students can enroll in courses.

High school students can enroll in FRCC classes on campus or in selected high schools through our College Now co-enrollment program. Students earn both high school and college credit.

Coming here by bus? The Brighton Center is a short walk from the RTD bus stop at Bridge Street and 18th Avenue. If coming from Westminster, take Route 120 to Sheridan (exit at 120th and Sheridan) and transfer to Route 51. The Brighton Center is just around the corner.
