Westminster Campus
About the Westminster Campus
In 1977, Front Range Community College moved from north Denver to its current home at 112th
Avenue in Westminster near the crossroads of Adams, Boulder, Broomfield, and
Jefferson counties. Today, FRCC Westminster offers students cutting-edge
facilities, small class sizes, and a lively college campus community.
Expansive facilities
The Westminster
Campus includes a cafeteria, study areas, a fitness center, a bookstore, and
much more, serving FRCC students as well as the community. In 1998, the City of
Westminster collaborated with FRCC to build the College Hill Library,
a joint-use library shared with the city.
Renowned programs
Westminster’s
early childhood development center, The Children’s
Place,
is one of the most renowned early education programs in the state and is open
to children of FRCC staff, students as well as families in the community. Westminster
is also a site for an English Language School, and our campus is a leader in
partnering with area school districts to offer high school students educational
opportunities.
Career/technical programs
Students may
choose from more than one hundred career/technical certificates, associate degrees,
and areas of concentration that reflect the needs of our community. The Nursing and Interpreter Preparation programs
have received Programs of Excellence Awards from the Colorado Commission on
Higher Education.
