The Rhetoric, Languages and Philosophy Department seeks to foster students’ understanding of themselves and the world through mastery of language and communication skills, including critical thinking and artistic expression. Many of the classes will transfer to a four-year college or university. The Associate of Arts is ideal for students who plan to major in an academic program at a four-year institution. See A.A. degree requirements.
