Nursing
Westminster Campus

Nurses are special people who combine compassion with competence. They are responsible, detail-oriented people who work in a very fast-paced and changing profession. One thing that hasn't changed in recent years is a grave concern over a shortage of nurses. More new jobs are expected to be created for registered nurses than for any other occupation, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Our mission is to provide a quality nursing education that prepares the graduate to become a competent member of the nursing profession who delivers nursing care to a diverse population in an ever-changing healthcare environment in a variety of healthcare settings. This mission and the department’s philosophy guide the Westminster Nursing faculty as they plan and implement the program of study.
