Completing a Degree
Most associate degree programs at Front Range Community College may be completed in four semesters if the student is:
- Attending on a full-time basis (averaging 15 credit hours per semester)
- Successfully completing the required number of hours
- Not required to complete developmental courses

More than 100 certificates are offered at Front Range Community College, from Emergency Medical Services to Welding. The College is comprised of three campuses and one center and the certificates you can earn vary by location. See certificates available at each location.

Associate of Arts (A.A.)
This degree is a generic major of liberal arts. While the catalog may indicate areas of concentration for the Associate of Arts degree, diplomas issued by the college will only indicate the awarding of an Associate of Arts degree (and no area of concentration).
The FRCC Associate of Arts is a transfer degree designed for students who plan to complete a major at a four-year college or university in such subjects as:

Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S)
The FRCC Associate of Applied Science degree prepares students to enter either skilled or paraprofessional occupations, or to advance in their current jobs. These programs are not intended to transfer to bachelor’s degree programs, but certain courses may be accepted toward a bachelor’s degree at some institutions. FRCC awards the A.A.S. degree upon completion of a specific approved program listed in the catalog.

Earn your A.A.S. degree from FRCC to add power to the career/technical certificate you are earning at one of Colorado's area vocational technical schools -- Delta-Montrose, Emily Griffith Opportunity School, Pickens Tech, or San Juan Basin.
Associate of General Studies (A.G.S.)
The FRCC Associate of General Studies degree is designed for students who want to complete a broad program of career and transfer courses without specialization. Transferability of the A.G.S. depends on the courses taken and the requirements of the receiving institution.
