Learning Communities

Join a Learning Community

Study with great faculty, meet new people, and maximize your time. How? Join a learning community.
You become part of a community of learners, taking two classes with students who have the same academic goals and interests as you. With two faculty members guiding your learning, there is plenty of opportunity to interact.
The on-campus classes meet back-to-back, so you use your time efficiently.

Build Your Skills

Some learning communities specialize in building your communication skills as you also progress through a guaranteed transfer course. Don’t worry – the reading or writing assignments in the guaranteed transfer course keep pace with the development of your communication skills. And just as in all our classes, our faculty focus on your success.

Share Your Interests

Other learning communities combine courses of similar interests; for example, Ethnic Studies with Ethnic Literature, or Accounting Principles I with Introduction to Business.

Talk with an Advisor
