Each and every day, we see how FRCC Foundation scholarships are life-changing. But for every student we help, there are many more who need assistance. Our aspiration is to grow our programs that offer thriving career paths and to provide more students with access to needed financial aid.
We are ‘Making it COUNT’ by better serving our donors, our scholars, and the college.
Front Range Community College Foundation scholars are working moms, dads, and single parents. They are veterans. Many are the first in their family to strive for a college degree. Most balance jobs, family, and their education. A staggering 67 percent of applicants have an annual household income of less than $20,000.
Since 2010, applications have increased almost 300 percent annually. In response, the Foundation over the past three years has almost tripled the funds awarded. In 2014-2015, the Foundation awarded more than $550,000 in scholarships to more than 500 students.
