Behind Every scholarship is a student with determination, resilience and a dream for the future. Your generosity creates opportunities that change lives for generations to come.

Heather Meyers

After surviving a life-changing hemorrhagic stroke, Heather Meyer found herself searching for a new path forward. Through Front Range Community College’s Integrated Health Professions program, she discovered renewed purpose and a community that supported her during one of the most difficult seasons of her life. When unexpected financial barriers threatened her ability to stay enrolled, the FRCC Foundation’s Lynn Jaenke Promising Futures Scholarship changed everything.

“That email about the scholarship was the first green light I’d had in a long 12-month process,” Heather shared. Today, Heather hopes to create accessible, trauma-informed wellness services for underserved communities, turning adversity into purpose through education and service.

Abigail (Abby) Salazar

Abigail (Abby) Salazar is a first-generation college student at Front Range Community College studying Business and Legal Studies. Passionate about mental health advocacy, human services, and educational equity, Abby is working toward her dream of becoming an attorney and founding a nonprofit that supports underserved communities through legal and wellness resources.

As a first-generation student, Abby understands the barriers many students face while navigating higher education. With support from FRCC and its donor community, she is building a strong foundation to create lasting impact and help others access opportunities for success.
