Front Range Community College (FRCC) is dedicated to creating an inclusive digital environment that ensures equal access to information and educational opportunities for all—regardless of ability.
Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility
Our goal is to make our website and other digital platforms accessible to everyone. This means delivering a digital experience that aligns with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. To guide our ongoing efforts, we have crafted a comprehensive Digital Accessibility Plan. This includes:
- Training and Education: To provide ongoing training and education to our staff and content creators to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to create accessible digital content.
- Compliance with Standards: To ensure that our digital content meets legal requirements and best practices, our goal is to deliver a digital experience that meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA compliance.
- Regular Evaluation: We will conduct regular evaluations of our digital resources to identify and address any accessibility barriers, using both automated tools and manual testing.
- Selection of Accessible Tools: We carefully select tools and technologies for our digital ecosystem to ensure they are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
- Feedback and Improvement: We encourage feedback from users regarding accessibility issues and continuously work to improve the accessibility of our online resources based on user input.
