Concurrent Enrollment Options

There are several ways to take Concurrent Enrollment classes at FRCC. Below are the programs we offer.

High School Select

High School Select classes are taught at your local high school for college credit.

Classes are taught by either FRCC-approved high school instructors or FRCC instructors who travel to the high school. Tuition is covered by the school district, but you may be responsible for textbooks and fees. Learn more about High School Select.

Campus Select

Take college courses for both high school and college credit at a FRCC campus. Prior to enrolling in Campus Select courses, be sure to speak with your high school counselor for eligibility requirements and approval to participate in Concurrent Enrollment. In some cases, qualifying test scores may be required prior to enrollment in a course.  Tuition is covered by the school district, but you may be responsible for textbooks and fees.

If you intend to come to campus or take classes online, complete our Intent Form through the link below.

ASCENT (Accelerating Students through Concurrent Enrollment)

The ASCENT program is a fifth year program where approved students take an additional year of college classes after their 12th grade.  Students are approved for the ASCENT program through their school district and must talk to their high school/district for consideration in to the program. Tuition is covered by the school district, but students may be responsible for textbooks and fees.
