Programs

College Now programs allow qualified high school students to enroll in FRCC college classes for both high school and college credit.

Tuition is paid by the school district or charter school and the College Opportunity Fund. Learn more about each program below.

Students take courses at their high school for both high school and college credit.  Classes are taught by either FRCC-approved high school instructors or FRCC instructors who travel to the high school. Tuition is covered by the school district, but students may be responsible for textbooks and fees.

Students take classes with college students of all ages on campus at FRCC for both high school and college credit. Tuition is covered by the school district, but students may be responsible for textbooks and fees.

Students under 17 participating in the Campus Select program are required to complete the underage enrollment process with FRCC. Please call Jaime Bertrand, College Now Coordinator at (303) 678-3764 or talk to your high school counselor for more information about this process.

The Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) at Skyline High School is called Falcon Tech. Students simultaneously complete their high school graduation requirements and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems to prepare for a future career in Information Technology. Students must apply and be accepted to this program, and coursework starts in the 9th grade.

The ASCENT program is a fifth year program where approved students take an additional year of college classes after their 12th grade.  Students are approved for the ASCENT program through their school district and must talk to their high school/district for consideration in to the program. Tuition is covered by the school district, but students may be responsible for textbooks and fees.
