2025 Year In Review

The Year We Grew Bold

2025 Year in Review

A message from FRCC President, Dr. Colleen Simpson.

Looking back at 2025, I'm reminded that our greatest achievements aren't captured in spreadsheets; they live in the moments that transform lives.

I think about the 4,200 graduates who crossed our stages this year. High schoolers launching their futures early. Adult learners expanding their horizons. Traditional students discovering possibilities they never thought within reach. Employees earning credentials without leaving their workplaces. And behind every single success story: our faculty, instructors and staff who show up with purpose every day.

We grew bold in 2025.

Colorado's first community college quantum technology program? That's us.

The only Colorado college selected for the Complete College America Accelerator? FRCC.
Record-breaking enrollment, scholarships, and graduation rates? Check, check and check.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

We put our values into action.

We invested $1.9 million in scholarships—with 67% supporting Pell-eligible students. We launched Colorado's first bachelor's degree program of its kind, proving innovation happens here. We built transformative partnerships with Colorado State University, Regis University, Broadcom Inc. and others, turning handshakes into pathways.

This is what's possible when a community believes in the power of education.

To our students: You're at the center of everything we do. Every program, every partnership, every barrier removed—it's all designed with your success in mind.

To our faculty, instructors and staff: Your commitment, ingenuity and compassion are woven into every achievement in these pages. Thank you for making FRCC a place where potential becomes reality.

To our partners, donors and supporters: Your belief in our mission makes this work possible. When you invest in FRCC, you invest in Colorado's future.

2025 was remarkable. But 2026? That's when our momentum becomes truly unstoppable.

We're moving Forward, Together—and there ain't no stoppin' us now.
