Teaching Philosophy
The foundation of my teaching philosophy focuses on fostering a learner-centered approach to education by developing and acquiring active and scenario-based learning opportunities for those under my instruction. As a nurse educator, providing my students with the tools, knowledge, and skills they need to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based care is of utmost priority. My goal is to always come alongside those I am educating in a kind, compassionate, and supportive manner to encourage them to step outside their comfort zone and experience what it truly means to be a nurse.
