My Story:
I studied voice performance at Taylor University, a private, Christian liberal arts in Indiana. After deciding that I wanted to pursue voice performance as a professional career, I headed out to another program of great repute, the Opera Performance program at University of Northern Colorado with the intention of working towards a Masters in Opera Performance. However, I realized that what I really wanted to do was to impact students in their educational journeys

So, I chose to instead pursue my Masters of Education in College Student Affairs at Azusa Pacific University in California. After graduation I spent some time serving at three institutions as a Residence Hall Director and then, with an opportunity to head back to Colorado, transitioned into Career and Academic Advising at Aims Community College in Greeley.

Through that experience, I found that community colleges are where I want to serve and I have stayed ever since, serving at Aims, the Community College of Denver, and now Front Range Community College, Larimer Campus. Education is something that I believe in with passion! I have been privileged to see the impact that education can have on a person’s life, the lives of their family, and their community. It is powerful to be able to witness the growth and development that comes from achieving educational and personal goals!  Come join us at FRCC. We have one focus, YOUR SUCCESS!
