Andrea became a full-time EMS instructor in the EMS program in the fall of 2012. She has been teaching as adjunct for FRCC since 2003. She has a wealth of experience in this field, having worked part-time for ten years for Weld County Paramedic Services on a 911 EMS crew, and for over 11 years at Poudre Valley Hospital in the ER first as an EMT-B, then for the last six years as a registered nurse. She holds a BA in Advertising and has a BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing).
Teaching Philosophy
I believe it is the instructor’s responsibility to instill a desire for learning in their students, and encourage them to strive for excellence in all aspects of learning and education.
