A native of Kentucky, Amy Holly came to FRCC after completing her graduate work at Colorado State University. Working first as a part-time instructor, Amy has taught multiple levels of Composition and Creative Writing on the Larimer Campus for the past four years. Some of Amy's fondest memories of FRCC include teaching in the Learning Communities program paired with Biology, attending the Institute for Student Learning in 2011, serving as the Faculty Senate Recorder, participating in Roadmap to Achievement, working on the Developmental Education Redesign project, and winning the 2013 Student Learning Project award for the college. Amy has also worked as a contributing writer for the forthcoming edition of the Allyn and Bacon Guide, the common text for ENG121 on Larimer Campus. In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, writing, running, and rock climbing. She lives in Loveland with her husband and daughter.
