After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University, Catherine Pellish worked as a software engineer for ten years in the Denver area. She left industry for graduate work in math, and received her Master of Science in Applied Mathematics in order to begin a career in education. She was a Front Range Community College faculty member in the mathematics department for 11 years. During that time she served as department chair, statewide chair of Mathematics for the Colorado Community College System (CCCS), and in a variety of other leadership roles on campus. She took on her current role as a Dean of Instruction in 2009 and currently oversees the English & Communication and Math departments, as well as the College Hill Library, and the Brighton Center.
