Teaching Philosophy
I believe it is important to understand how my students think and reason about the content. As a faculty member it is my role to provide an environment that allows students to work on issues and problems without fear or failure. Teaching is collective rather than an individual effort. I believe that when a student is able to make meaning of the classroom lesson through direct experience, they gain the confidence and knowledge to further their skills.
