Mary has been a chemistry instructor at Front Range Community College for 24 years. She has taught on campus, online and hybrid courses. Mary has done a variety of research projects at such places as National Renewable Energy Lab, CU Boulder and Argonne National Laboratory. She was also a representative to the Rocky Flats Citizens Advisory Board. She has been involved in various activities relating to teaching including Science Department Chair, Coordinator of the Chemical Operators Certificate program and the FRCC Chemistry Representative (and co-chair) on the 2:2 and 2:4 year State Chemistry Higher Education Committee for the Colorado Community College and Occupational Education Board (CCCOES). She is currently chair of the FRCC Chemical Hygiene Committee.
