Gabriel Castaño, EdD

Dr. Gabriel Castaño leads FRCC's strategy for student access, enrollment, retention and completion. He oversees the full student journey—from first connection through enrollment, persistence and development.

 

His work focuses on removing barriers to higher education and ensuring students have the advising, financial aid and engagement support needed to succeed. He partners with community organizations to close equity gaps and expand opportunity.

 

A first-generation college student himself, Dr. Castaño brings more than 20 years of experience across public and private institutions. He holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership for Educational Equity.
