As a neuropsychologist, Dr. Moretti has an unshakable passion and commitment for fostering a thriving, diverse, inclusive, equitable and innovative campus culture that prioritizes employee engagement, organizational development and operational excellence.  

 

With many years of human resources and people operations experience in various industries assisting others in their organizational progress, Dr. Moretti brings a wealth of knowledge in HR strategy, performance psychology, organizational, employee and leadership development to this role. A key driver of his servant leadership principles include his commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion—championing initiatives that promote diverse perspectives that create a culture of fairness and opportunity for all employees. He continues to inspire a shared vision of operational excellence where employees thrive in a supportive and engaging environment. 

 

Prior to joining FRCC, Dr. Moretti held senior leadership positions as chief human resources officer and chief people officer where he developed a reputation for driving organizational change and improving performance outcomes while nurturing a sense of belonging. His experiences extend internationally where he lived and worked in China for almost four years as a senior scientist. In that role, he directed and collaborated with key international researchers and universities to create a science advisory board that helped bridge the gap between research and educational outcomes throughout China. 

 

Dr. Moretti earned his PhD in child, family and school psychology with an emphasis in pediatric neuropsychology from the University of Denver, a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Colorado-Denver, a bachelor’s in psychology from Ball State University, and post-doctoral fellowship in traumatic and acquired brain injury from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. 

Outside of work, Dr. Moretti enjoys raising his two sons, live music, traveling, exercising, reading, cooking and singing.
