Campus-SafetyThe Campus Security and Preparedness department's mission is to provide a safe and secure learning and working environment on Front Range Community College’s campuses through professional officer presence and professional customer service while leveraging technology. Our officers patrol campus buildings, parking lots, and grounds while enforcing system policies and college rules, regulations, and procedures.  We will respond to all emergency and non-emergency calls on campus and call for local law enforcement as needed. We strive to accommodate the needs of the college staff and the students. By becoming our partners, you can assist us in making our campus community a safer place to be. Front Range Community College is dedicated to the safety, health, and well-being of its students, faculty, staff and community.  We encourage everyone in the FRCC community to utilize the reporting forms to report any concerning behaviors or incidents.

Weather or emergencies may require FRCC administrators to delay or close individual campuses or the college periodically. To receive immediate email and text notifications of closures or delays, sign up for emergency notifications in eWOLF. Learn more about college delays and closures.

A Chemical Hygiene Plan is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for laboratories working with hazardous chemicals. See FRCC's plan.
The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) allows students, employees, and contractors to anonymously report an unethical or fraudulent business that occurs on campus.

There are three ways to report:

  • Online at CCCS website. Select FRCC under “To File a Report.
  • Log in to eWOLF. Go to the Resources tab, then click on the CCCS Hotline, Fraud Report link located in the Campus Security & Preparedness box.
  • Call toll-free (888) 299-5440.

Related CCCS Policies

CCCS Code of Ethics defines the responsibilities of Colorado Community College System employees system-wide.  Employees of the Colorado Community College System are required to demonstrate the highest ethical standards at all times, which includes reporting inappropriate activity.

CCCS Whistleblower Protection Policy protects employees who report matters to Human Resources, Legal or Internal Audit, including online reports or through the call center.

Safety Tips
