The High Plains Fitness Center is committed to making student participation in recreational activities an essential component of the FRCC experience. By providing outstanding programming, leadership, and facilities, we meet the recreational interests of the diverse student body. Our efforts are focused on activities that create positive social interaction, opportunities for education and self-development, and promotion of healthy lifestyles among students, employees, and community.

Our newly remodeled 3,000 sq ft High Plains Fitness Center is on B Level, just down the main stairway across from Entrance 2. Members have access to all equipment, machines, and programming that includes group fitness classes, Personal Wellness Sessions, and Campus Challenges.


Fall Semester Hours

Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Friday,  8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The High Plains Fitness Center will operate throughout the fall semester (while open), with reservations on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional questions or to make a reservation, you can call (303) 404-5159 or ask the Front Desk Attendant.

Guest Passes

Guest passes may be purchased at Student Life for $5 and are good for one use only. Guests must be sponsored and accompanied by an affiliated High Plains Fitness Center member with a valid Wolf Card. Please read the Guest Sponsorship Policy before purchasing.

Students

If you’re currently enrolled as a student, membership is free with these two items:

  • Your current class schedule. Schedules may be shown on device or printed copy.
  • Your Wolf Card ID: these are available for purchase for $5 in the Student Life Office.

FRCC Employees

FRCC employees may also use the center FREE during the fall semester (while open).

  • FRCC employees will have free access to the Fitness Center throughout the fall semester, while open. We will operate the center via reservations or on a first come, first serve basis. For additional questions please see the front desk attendant.
  • Your Wolf Card ID: these are available as a $5 purchase from the Student Life Office.
  • Membership packets are located in the Student Life Office.
  • To finalize your enrollment, please return to the fitness center with:

Do you want to get active without paying for a class? Check out our Remote Group Fitness Schedule below!

Meditation Class: In collaboration with the Wellness Committee, Julie Voss, Westminster English faculty member and certified meditation teacher, will be offering 30 minute ZOOM meditation classes on the first and third Wednesdays of every month, meeting from 9:00 to 9:30 online.  In this class, we will open with a few seated stretches and experience the joy of meditation while learning simple practices to quiet the mind and relieve stress.

If interested, please email Julie at Julie.Voss@frontrange.edu so she can send you the link to the class.  This will be a free, drop in class, and you do not need to commit to coming to every class.  Just come to whatever class or classes work for you.  The first class will be on Wednesday, September 2nd.
