We welcome visiting and guest students at FRCC. Whether you want to take just one or two classes here to transfer back to another college/university or for your personal or career development, we've made it easy to take classes at FRCC. And we even have a streamlined admissions process that will get you started quickly.
Three Simple Steps to Take Classes at FRCC
Step 1: Apply to FRCC
Applying to FRCC is easy:
- Applying to FRCC is FREE
- There are no application deadlines
Application Instructions
- To start your application by clicking the Create an Account tab to enter basic information and create your application username (your personal email address) and password. You can save your work and log into your application account at any time to finish your application.
- On the Academic Information application section, under Student Type, you will answer the first question: Are you a student at another college and/or plan to attend our college for one semester only? as “YES”. o Under Academic Plans, select your Area of Interest as All
- After you apply, you'll receive a welcome email within 3-5 business days with all the information you need to get started. Be sure to check you SPAM or JUNK email if you don't see this email within 3-5 business days.
Enrollment Steps
Once you've applied and have received your Welcome email, its time to enroll as a student at FRCC.
Step 2: Register for classes
Register as early as possible! If your class is full, join the course waitlist and watch for an opening.
- If you have already taken prerequisite classes at another institution and need an
override to register for your desired FRCC course, please fill out the Prerequisite Override Form.
- You will need to upload an unofficial transcript to the Prerequisite Override Form (PDF, PNG, JPEG file)

Step 3: Pay tuition
You will need to pay your tuition and fees or create a monthly payment plan by the payment deadline. Financial Aid is not an option for undeclared students except if awarded from a home institution.
